The winter solstice is special to me. It’s a beacon of hope in what is often a stressful time. The short dark days will now become longer, the sun will set a bit later every evening, and we’re closer now to spring than we were in September. But the cold weather coming this week is a harsh reminder that winter has only begun. I hope you have time to relax and rejuvenate in the coming weeks. I’ll be watching a few movies, doing some baking, and doing as much writing as I can. My book The Witching Hour: How Witches Enchanted the World is coming along well, and right now I’m enjoying researching films and shows that depict the pagan aspects of winter holidays.
Which prompts me to remind you that the Yuletide special for 23% off a paid yearly subscription is only on for two more days! I’m grateful for any and all support of my work. This blog and newsletter will continue to be free, but paid subscribers can comment and interact with other subscribers, will receive some additional subscriber-only content, and can opt to get one free tarot reading from me per calendar year. In the coming year I may be adding some additional features, too.
Wishing you all a winter holiday season filled with light.
