Hello and welcome to the season of apples, witches, cider, witches, bonfires, and witches. This equinox, soon after the full harvest moon and a lunar eclipse, has been a most intense time for me. I lost my dear sweet dog Maisie, who has been with me since early 2012, when she was rescued from a shelter in Brooklyn.
She died at home on Sunday September 15. I was with her, and I buried her the next day, and have started planting a garden on the spot, and keeping busy with that has helped soothe the pain somewhat. I’m grateful I was able to be with her and comfort her. She’s been so much a part of my daily life for the last decade that I feel quite lost without her.
In addition to grieving my sweet companion, I’ve been extremely busy and a bit overwhelmed with life, especially many writing and editing projects.
I wanted to say welcome to all my new subscribers and followers, and I’m hoping to get back to posting some regular content during the Season of the Witch, now upon us…Stay tuned for witchy film and TV reviews, book updates, and more…
